The technology

The Technology Behind VaelorCoat™

VaelorCoat™ is a nano-coating for the glass of installed solar panels. Three properties work together, led by photocatalytic technology.

01 · Core technology

Photocatalytic Technology

Sunlight activates the photocatalytic coating. Once activated, it helps break down certain dirt and organic contaminants that settle on the panel surface, so they are easier to wash away.

Superhydrophilic Technology

Water spreads across the glass in a thin, even sheet instead of forming droplets. As it runs off, it helps rinse away dirt that has been loosened.

Anti-Reflective Technology

Designed to reduce reflection from the panel surface and support light transmission, so more of the light reaching the glass can pass through to the cells.

Results vary with location, weather and the condition of each system. The coating helps reduce buildup; it does not remove all dirt.

Every VaelorCoat™ package follows the same three steps, carried out on site by our team.

    Deep cleaning & surface preparation

    Each panel is professionally deep-cleaned to remove dust, dirt and buildup, and the glass is prepared so the coating is applied to a clean surface.

  2. 02

    Professional coating application

    The VaelorCoat™ nano-coating is applied carefully and evenly across the glass of every panel.

  3. 03

    Natural air-drying cure

    Once applied, the coating cures through natural air-drying.
